8-27-2021 Putting our problems, pain and suffering into the hands of Hashem can be very healing. At every opportunity that one feels he is losing control or is experiencing any kind of crisis can say: “Hashem everything is in your hands, everything is in your hands, I don’t need to worry.” One says this phrase repeatedly (none stop) above one’s thoughts. Instead of letting our thoughts and emotions rule us, we can surrender to a higher power that can help us in any way and in every way. Many people are disturbed when things don’t go the way they hoped or planned. They may cry, be bitter and be totally in pain. This is all so sad because it can hold them back from achieving their true potentials in life. For example; A person who never found their zivug or is married and has not yet had children can build a world of kedusha by being available to other children. A teacher of children should be treating every one of their students as their own by helping every child to achieve academically and in the true derech of Hashem. How much more so a teacher who has not yet found their soulmate or has not yet been blessed with children. At times our life changes. Sometimes we see it as good, sometimes we see it as disastrous. But if we look at it from another perspective, we might be able to see the wonders of Hashem. Before something happened we were able to serve Hashem with flashing colors. How much we were on our feet constantly helping others. always doing things for our family. Preparing for Shabbos was always a delight. Pesach cleaning was meticulously done with great love for HKB”H. But disaster came along and our lives shattered. We are lost, our ability to serve Hashem as we did before can seem like it is gone. But when we experience a new chapter in our life, we need to find Hashem in our new situation and serve Him with love just as we did before. The gifts that we were never able to see could now become clear. Hashem gave us an amazing ability to heal ourselves. It is only up to us to see the wonders of creation that Hashem put in front of us. Why me, you ask, one may never really know. But then again it might become an answer in disguise if one learns to serve Hashem once again with flashing colors, to thank Him, praise Him, and find the gift of healing, happiness and love for oneself and all of His creatures. sometimes the way to get a hold of these abilities is through accepting all that happens to us in life and being quiet and still in the presence of Hashem. ֍
