Emotional Pain/Depression

Emotional Pain/Depression = Deficiency In Vitamins/Minerals And/Or Amino Acids.

Depression is an extremely common emotional health issue. It is essential to know that it is manageable and, at times, curable. One does not need to keep on suffering. Rather, one needs to be open-minded and help themselves. Even if someone has hurt or destroyed you, it is still possible to heal. It is up to you if you want to help yourself.

Symptoms may include

  • Large round or big eyes – This indicates some form of depression or simply a lack of the vitamins listed below.
    •  Notes:
      • Some babies have large, round eyes but it is not necessarily caused by depression or lack of the vitamins listed below.
      • Also, people with schizophrenia usually have round, large eyes, indicating a deficiency in the vitamins listed below.
  • Crying spells (including women after labor)
  • Crying over little things
  • Outbursts/Lashing out
  • Emotional pain
  • Painful thoughts – (This includes painful thoughts about past experiences and ongoing issues).
  • Drug overdose
  • Alcohol abuse

Who  is at risk

  • Anyone at any age, including children.
  • Teens at risk.
  • Any person who has experienced any trauma that has not effectively been resolved.
  • Pregnant women, after birth and onward.
    • Note: If a pregnant mother lacks specific vitamins and minerals, the baby can automatically lack them too. This can also continue into childhood and on if it is not appropriately addressed.
  •  People who suffer from manic depression

Some  causes

  • Trauma
  • Certain allergies to a particular food (although it might be rare)
  • Lack of the right vitamins and minerals.
  • Mainly eating foods that lack sufficient vitamins, for example, pasta and dry cereal.

Solution

Supplementing with the right vitamins and minerals helps the brain and body to function better. In turn, this can help us to deal with situations or problems with more clarity and calmness. Often, the deficiency of vitamins and minerals that are most likely to cause depression are B12, folic acid, amino acids, and kelp.

  • Supplement  With Vitamins – Taking a multivitamin or even better wheat-grass in capsule form is preferable rather than consuming each vitamin or mineral separately. However, note that there are times that one will need to add extra B12 to the multivitamin/wheatgrass until one sees or feels that there is an improvement. Although vitamins/minerals do not take away problems, they help a person function better in times of crisis or trauma. Though it is not recommended, if one wants to consume each vitamin separately, it is advisable to do a blood test to see which vitamins one lacks. One should request a copy of the blood test. Note that it is essential to interpret the blood work results accurately. Often, a Dr. will see results in the middle range and reassure the patient that everything is okay. However, B12 and folic acid need to be above average, and specific individuals may suffer depressive symptoms if their levels are in the mid-range.
  • Eating Healthy – One does not need to be rich to eat healthy.  By including soaked legumes, preferably split peas, into one’s diet, one will obtain many vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. These soaked legumes can provide many vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. See the article “An Essential Boost Of Nutrition” on my web page. Another low-cost healthy food is sourdough bread. Although whole flour is preferable, one can use any flour they wish and still obtain good nutrients.
  • Note: See this website for an easy way to make sourdough bread without preparing a starter.
  • Do Touch Healing – Touch healing can help tremendously to heal different ailments. Specifically, one can check out the section on depression.

Other symptoms that one might experience if they are lacking in these vitamins/minerals listed above are:

  • Anger (Not always is this caused by a lack of vitamins/minerals).
  • Lack of patience (not always is this caused by a lack of vitamins/minerals). ■ ■
